ARE THE ASSETS IN YOUR INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO
Not Sure? Perhaps TCK is what you are looking for.
With TCK, you know that your assets are managed by seasoned and watchful professionals. We never stop reviewing performance or evaluating returns, with a goal of producing long-term results.
The following excerpt is from a recent Annual Report from Warren G. Buffett to his shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. We believe his philosophy on investment performance to be profound, mirroring that of TCK:
"Some people disagree with our focus on relative figures, arguing that "you can't eat relative performance." But if you expect - ...and I do - that owning the S&P 500 will produce reasonably satisfactory results over time, it follows that, for long-term investors, gaining small advantages annually over that index must prove rewarding. Just as you can eat well throughout the year if you own a profitable, but highly seasonal, business such as See's (which loses considerable money during the summer months) so, too, can you regularly feast on investment returns that beat the averages, however variable the absolute numbers may be." (emphasis added)
In line with Warren Buffett's remarks, the key to measuring investment success is how well one performs relative to the benchmark applicable to one's personal investment philosophy - one's "comfort zone." TCK has developed a system of comparing our clients' investment returns to those of applicable benchmarks using Morningstar® reports. |
